Fear, together with sadness, joy, disgust, anger and surprise, is one of the fundamental emotions of living beings, it allows us to understand when we are faced with danger and pushes us to survive.
It is a primary emotion common to all human beings, even from different cultures, and present in children from the first months of life because it is important for communication.
Disgust, although presented with a negative meaning, is part of the so-called primary emotions, therefore those basic emotions that are necessary for human survival.
